“My son had a hard time regulating his temper.. little things like dropping a toy would make him really angry or frustrated. He would cry suddenly for no reason. He hated getting his hair or nails cut. For the past 4 years, every doctor’s checkup, he wouldn’t let the nurse check his height or weight.
After therapy, now he does everything better! We went to the doctor the other day and he let the nurse check his height, weight and heart rate all by himself! and the doctor was so surprised! Me and my husband were so surprised as well!
Therapy is really helping him!
He really loves coming to therapy. He keeps asking, ‘Is it therapy time yet?’ He loves Ms Sharmin. We are sooo thankful!”

When I first came to Occupational Therapy Concept I was in excruciating pain, I could not button, zip up clothing or tie my shoes without extra assistance. When I started therapy I was worried I’d never get full function or even close to it. My thumb/ hand was barely working and it was hard to do most of the things I enjoy. Some were even impossible. Fast forward 15 appointments and I’m far better than I thought I would be. I can ride my bicycle, drive a car, and carry things with no difficulty. Almost nothing is hard to do now and I have no pain. I’m very glad and satisfied with the care I was provided.

On numerous occasions I’ve had to have Physical Therapy. I have been extremely satisfied at Restore Plus. I just finished Occupational Therapy sessions. Never had them before. Very pleased with results. Sharmin: my occupational therapist is a very accomplished, competent, caring, excellent therapist. Hope I don’t need anymore, but if I do she is the only one I would see. I had my right shoulder replaced on July 12, 2017. On July 25, 2017 I had my first Occupational Therapy session with Charmin. At the time, my shoulder was “frozen”, I was unable to move it. “After the accident and the surgery, I felt a strong pain in my neck. I also felt weakness in my legs when I was walking. I had a heavy tingling in my left arm during the therapies; however, after several sessions, and at the end of the therapy, I feel much better. The pain in the neck went away. I can feel a little pain sometimes when I am sleeping but overall everything improved dramatically. The weakness in my legs went away 70%, and the pain is gone. I do not feel any pain in my left arm either. The tingling went away in my legs, neck and arm. I only have some tingling in three fingers, the palm of my left hands and my left wrist.”

“So, I had a lot of problems using the right side of my body. I couldn’t carry any weight and I couldn’t use my right hand functionally. I couldn’t write, I couldn’t use a knife, I couldn’t pretty much do anything with it. At this point, I can use a knife, to decent degree, I can cook using my right hand. I’m typing and I’m working with my right hand, which I couldn’t do at all, I barely could move it. On the strength side, I think my right side of body got stronger as well, we did a lot of weight exercises, and it’s slowly improving.
