Reopening Instructions (How We Keep You Safe)

May 13, 2020 By Sharmin Tiu-Curcio

Here are the things you should know when coming in…

You will need to…

  1. Book your schedule in advance because due to state mandate, we are limiting the number of people in the clinic.
  2. Adhere to the safety guidelines below.

Your safety is our top priority and here are what you should know…

Steps We Are Taking:

  1. We strictly monitor staff and patient symptoms and adherence to safety precautions
  2. Temperature scanning using a non-contact thermometer
  3. Disinfect the facility including, but not limited to surfaces, beds, tables, doorknobs, equipment, countertops, and faucet handles
  4. Social distancing 6 ft apart
  5. Disinfectant is conveniently available
  6. Increase ventilation using open doors, windows or the fan in the HVAC system to create better airflow
  7. All staff wear masks and gloves and even face shields if needed
  8. All staff follow hand washing and sanitizing protocols after each patient contact

What YOU Should Do:

  1. If you have any of these symptoms, you should stay home
    1. Fever
    2. Persistent cough
    3. Shortness of breath
  2. You can bring your own equipment if possible
  3. Avoid contact with others
  4. Observe social distancing 6 ft apart from others
  5. Disinfect your hands upon entering the clinic
  6. Wear a mask while you’re at the clinic
  7. Avoid touching your face while at the clinic
  8. If you need to cough or sneeze, do so into a tissue, then immediately dispose of the tissue and wash your hands. If tissue is not available, do so into your elbow. Avoid directing a cough toward others

To limit the number of people in the clinic, you will need to book and reserve your appointment for each session.

Call us at (718) 285-0884 to reserve your spot!

"My son Victor has mild autism. And he’s not able to talk to people, and he plays by himself.

He just used to repeat questions. And he doesn’t understand what we ask him. But now he’s able to talk to people and has conversations with people. I’m so happy. Doctor Sharmin is a great doctor.

I so appreciate her."

..” - Ling H. (mother of 5 y/o boy)

After the accident and the surgery, I felt a strong pain in my neck..felt weakness in my legs when I was walking and had a heavy tingling in my left arm...After several sessions, I feel much better! The pain in my neck went away...everything improved dramatically. The weakness in my legs went away 70%, and the pain is gone! I do not feel any pain in my left arm either and the tingling went away...” - Albert H. of Queens, NY
