As a valued member of our OT Concept family, I appreciate the trust you place in us when you have pain, injury or weakness.
As you all know, the Coronavirus is spreading around the world. There is widespread fear and panic happening everywhere. People are stockpiling supplies, changing plans they have made, and even opting to stay home for undetermined length of time to the extent of cancelling medical appointments. That’s why I want to personally update you on the situation with the Coronavirus and the steps we are taking to ensure your health and safety when you are coming in for your treatment.
Although I understand some people’s decision, in my opinion, this is not sustainable long term. How long can we not continue to live our lives because of fear? I believe the better solution is to be vigilant but not over reactive. Practice good hygiene and infection control techniques and focus on keeping our bodies healthy. I have been focusing on getting myself healthier the past several months.
How We Prevent The Spread of the Coronavirus
In our part, we are doing everything we can to protect our patients and staff from the spread of the coronavirus. I would like to share some of the things that we do. Take note that these are things that we have been doing since day 1 as part of being a responsible medical clinic.
- We disinfect our equipment regularly
- We have soap and hand sanitizers always available in the clinic
- If we have patients who are sick, we do not let them come in for their appointments
We understand that coming in for your treatment is fundamental to your recovery from surgery, pain or injury, which is why it can’t – and shouldn’t – simply stop. I believe that our mission of ending chronic pain, restoring hope and guiding people to a higher level of health through the most caring experts and environment is never more important than at times like this.
